He is survived by: his parents, Linda Edwards Sledge and Douglas Argene Sledge (Rebecca Mayes Sledge); his wife Melissa Dial Sledge; his children, Harper Elizabeth Sledge and Thorne Thomas Sledge; his stepson Samuel Asa Stamps; his siblings, Stephen Douglas Sledge (Melissa Bibbee Sledge) and Jennifer Elizabeth Sledge (Michael Kantor); the mother of his children Deanna Jaynes Sledge; his mother-in-law Lisa Dial Dickerson; and his nieces and nephews, Sydney Sledge, Savannah Sledge, Claire Sledge and Blake Sledge.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sheffield Methodist Church (701 N Montgomery Ave, Sheffield, AL 35660).
