He is survived by: his wife Iris Smith Maddox; his children, Edwin Maddox, Derrick Gilmore (Carla), Cedric Keller, JhaMari Nevitt, Tia Edwards (Ray), Kim Keller and Tamika Maddox; and his siblings, Reverend Willie Lee (Rosie), Leroy Maddox, Doris Cunningham, Dorothy Harris (Clarence) and Martha Brantley (Bill). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
