With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elaine Howard of Shelby, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Howard; her sister Barbara Rogers; and her parents, James Hughes and Nancy Hughes. She is survived by: her daughter Jama Turner (Lance); her granddaughters, Stephanie Pence, Rebecca Turner-Boatner (Ricky) and Valerie Turner (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Kyler, Banah, Shane, Kealeigh, Kalix, Lila and Adaline; and her siblings, Gail Braik (Suleiman), Thomas Hughes (Lisa) and Glois Hughes. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Good Hope Church (2735 Hwy 61, Columbiana, AL 35051).
