He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Bass and Mary Ida Blackmon Bass; and his former wife Brenda Bass. He is survived by: his brother Tommy Bass (Debbie) of Clanton; his stepchildren, Jim Curtis of Tuscaloosa and Kim Curtis of Tuscaloosa; and his nephew James McMon (Sandra) of Clanton.
