Marcia Pearson Turquitt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2025, at the age of 69, Marcia Pearson Turquitt of Shelby, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lee Pearson, Sr. and Beverly Buchta McKenna; and her former husband Melvin Edward Turquitt. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Johnson; her sons, Phillip Seth Turquitt and Melvin Dane Turquitt; her grandchildren, Tyler Seth Turquitt and Evee Ann Grace Turquitt; and her siblings, Richard Pearson, Chad Pearson, Jimmy Leeper and Kim Pappanastos.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests no flowers, however donations can be made to Shelby Elementary School or the charity of your choice.
