He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Carden and Martha Jane Howell Carden; his son Shannon Carden; and his siblings, Dorothy Carden, Sandra Raia and William Carden.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sharon Wilbanks (Rickey), Marsha Scott (Jimmy), Jane Ready and Allan Barnes (Charlene); his former wife Angie Glass; and his daughters, Danielle and Caroline. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
