Phyllis Mewbourne Tortorici Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Mewbourne Tortorici of Shelby, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrison Mewborne and Rose Mewborne; and her brothers, Douglas Mewborne and Anderson Mewborne. She is survived by: her husband Joe Tortorici; her stepchildren, Paul Tortorici (Tanya) and Wendy T. Miller (Scott); her grandchildren, Christopher Tortorici and Savanah Miller; her great grandchild Capri Tortorici; and her brothers, Rodney Mewborne (Phyllis), David Mewborne (Deb) and Morris Mewborne (Nikki). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
