With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Lou Taylor of Shorter, Alabama, who passed away on May 29, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Emma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Emma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burton's Funeral Home Chapel (607 E Martin Luther King Hwy, Tuskegee, AL 36083). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Divine Bethel Missionary Baptist Church (6400 Co Rd 9, Shorter, AL 36075).
