With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Wyman Lassiter III (Silas, Alabama), born in Mobile, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2026 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Lassiter, Jr. and Jean L. Lassiter. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Carpenter Lassiter; his daughters, Jennifer Lassiter Copeland (Eric) and Holly Lassiter Floyd (Josh); his grandchildren, Bree Copeland Phillips (Matt), Faith Copeland (Hudson), Ella Floyd and Wyatt Floyd; his great grandchild Logan Phillips; and his siblings, Wanda Lassiter Kesling (Gene) and Dwain Lassiter (Bessie).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cullomburg Cemetery Fund.
