Sue Covington Campbell Obituary
We announce the death of Sue Covington Campbell of Silas, Alabama, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 89. Sue will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Foye Levern Campbell; her son Thomas Fredrick Campbell; her parents, Thomas Richard Covington and Ophelia Amanda Stewart Covington; and her siblings, Curvin Covington, Richard Covington, Stuart Covington, Selma Hendrix, Kathryn Baldwin, Mary Helen Sikes and Joyce Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Stacey Leverne Campbell (Angela) and Tinena Ophelia C. Bice (Wayne); her grandchildren, Arielle Lindsey (Jonathan), Isaac Bice (Estephania), Victoria McMahan (Roy), Matthew Leverne Campbell (Jill), Dylan David Campbell (Lauren) and Lauren Lehmkuhl (Mason); her sisters, Nalda Baldwin and Pam May (Billy); her grandsons, Matthew Campbell and Thomas Campbell; and her great grandchildren, Kylen Grice, Jay Lindsey, Jackson Lindsey, Carson Campbell, Cooper Campbell, Caleb Campbell, Camden Campbell, John Miller Campbell and Gabriel Bice. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Silas First Baptist Church (5468 Co Rd 6, Silas, AL 36919). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
