He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Jackson and Sylvia Shepherd Kirksey; his wife Sharon Swartz Kirksey; his brother James Frederick Kirksey (Julie) of Conyers, GA; and his nephews, Caleb Andrew Kirksey, Nathan Frederick Kirksey and Seth Franklin Kirksey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Silverhill First Baptist Church (15898 Silverhill Ave, Silverhill, AL 36576). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
