He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Ann; his sons, Steven Joy and Brian Joy; his stepdaughter Glenda Adams; and his siblings, Sandra England, Norman Joy and Cliff Joy.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Toby Eaton (Marie), Mike Godwin (Liz), Paul Godwin (Jodi) and Sherie Perez; and his grandchildren, Alexander Joy, Benjamin Joy, Nathaniel Joy, Chelsea Joy and Dillon Joy. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
