She was predeceased by: her parents, William Haywood Laney and Bessie Enfinger Laney; her husband Foy Covington, Jr.; and her pet Dachshund. She is survived by: her sons, Keith Covington (Laura) of Birmingham, Sam Covington (Amy) of Enterprise and Clay Covington of Holtville; her grandchildren, Ross Covington, Eleanor Covington, David Covington, Carter Covington, Graham Covington and Millie Bess Covington; her sister-in-law Judye Richardson; her niece Ada Pritchett; and her pet Heidi.
