He is survived by: his wife Dana Hughes Sasser; his sons, Danny Sasser (Brittany), Lee Sasser (Leighanna) and Joey Sasser (Megan); his grandchildren, Weston Sasser, Adilyn Sasser, Wyatt Sasser, Cruz Klapal, Wade Sasser, Wise Sasser, Charles "Avery" Sasser, Lily Sasser, Lottie Sasser, James Grady Sasser and Beau Sasser; his siblings, Wendy Douglas (Kenny) and Christopher Sasser; his mother-in-law Jo Welch (James); his brothers-in-law, Danny Hughes (Buffie) and Dewayne Welch (Bobbi); and his close friends, Mickey Herring, Brian Farley, Ron Barrett, James Helms and Allen Bond. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
