She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin and Mattie Keiser Stewart; her husband Hughlon; and her sons, Roger and Larry.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Carnley, Mary "Sis" Hilty, Daniel Carnley (Debbie), Gloria Barfield (Olen), Jack Carnley, Roy Carnley and Charlotte Benton (Mike); and her siblings, Bobby Stewart, Carolyn Poyner, Frances Tindel (David) and Joyce Stewart. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, fifty-seven great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren.
