With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Belton Sayles (Slocomb, Alabama), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley B. Sayles and Dorothy Stokes Sayles. He is survived by: his wife Jane Thomas Sayles; his children, Jennifer Sayles and Jim Sayles; his grandchildren, Shane Langhammer (Cierra), Blaine Thomas and Kayleigh Sayles; his great grandchildren, Jaxyn and Jasper Langhammer; and his brother Dewey Crowe (Jackie). He is also survived by extended family and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
