She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond (Mary Rash Strickland) and Gloria; her husband Joe Earl Rogers; and her nephew Brandon Hendrix. She is survived by: her children, Michele Mynard (Jody) and Joe Earl "Joey" Rogers Jr. (Michelle Marquardt); her grandchildren, Noah, Hannah McKee (Jeremiah), Hope Mynard, Camryn Craig (Grant), Madison Workman (Jake), Justin Rogers and Skylar Marquardt; her sister Tonya Maurice (Craig); her nephew Grant Hendrix (Lekresha); her great-niece Addison Hendrix; and her great-nephew Jarrett Hendrix. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Slocomb (225 N Dalton St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial contributions be made in Gloria's honor to First Baptist Church of Slocomb, Legacy of Hope, or your favorite local animal shelter.
