She is survived by: her husband Clifton Frank McGowan; her children, Lisa Lasiter (Michael) and Cliff McGowan (Cindy); her grandsons, Tre McGowan (Megan) of Woodstock, GA, Justin McGowan (Jenny) of Wicksburg, AL and Max Lasiter; her great grandchildren, Brady, Aidan, Sutter, Emery, Maverick, Kannon, Jax, Maddux and Quinn; and her sister Dorothy Nell Miller (Junior) of Marianna, FL..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
