He was predeceased by: his grandmother Margaret Copeland. He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Lamax Helms and Elizabeth Clements Helms of Ozark, Alabama; his daughter Kellan Helms of Malone, Florida; the mother of his child Gina Helms; and his stepsiblings, Melinda Yu (Chang) and David Smith (Tracy). He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
