It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Earl Rogers (Slocomb, Alabama), born in Bonifay, Florida, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea Rogers and Oneta Skipper Rogers; and his nephew Brandon Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Strickland Rogers; his children, Michele Mynard (Jody) and Joe Earl "Joey" Rogers Jr.; his grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, Hope Mynard, Camryn, Madison and Justin Rogers; his brother Winton Rogers; his sister-in-law Tonya Maurice (Craig); his nephew Grant Hendrix (Lekresha); his great-niece Addison Hendrix; and his great-nephew Jarrett Hendrix. He is also survived by other extended family and friends.
