He is survived by: his children, Sandy Lassiter Canevari (Angelo) and Dwayne Lassiter (Melanie); his grandchildren, Ray Canevari, Shana Canevari, Kristen Lassiter and Hollie Fowler (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Jacob Shiver, Elena Shiver, Anthony Shiver, Emma Fourman, Mattie Fowler, Reese Fowler and Darby Fowler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the New Hinson Baptist Church (1143 Co Rd 48, Slocomb, AL 36375). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at the James & Lipford Funeral Home (5390 Cotton St, Graceville, FL 32440).
