He is survived by: his wife Patti Palmer Spruell; his brother Johnny; his son Jason Spruell (Joy); his grandchildren, Nathan, London, Lance, Laurence Spruell, Rabon, Ralls and Jenni Pennington; his children-in-law, Ruth Spruell and Mike Pennington; his nephew Danny Elkins; his son Michael Derek Spruell; Patsy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and cousins.
Flowers are welcome, but so are donations in Spruell's memory to either Sardis Missionary Baptist Church in Dothan or Kitty Kottage in Dothan.
