He was predeceased by: his father-in-law David Ellis; and his sister-in-law Donna Perry. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, D. J. (Katie) and Justine Tew; his granddaughter Jade; his godchildren, Caleb Morris and Morgan Knight (Kaleb); his parents, Diane Cox (Joe Fred) and Chuck Law; his siblings, Charles Law, Dixie Pease, Lynnia Thomas (Dale), Patti Bond (Steve), Jada Scroggins (Ron) and Kim Henderson (Doss); his sister-in-law Debbie Tran (Tuan); his siblings' children, Amanda Young (Joe) and Dale Thomas (Nicole); Maggie Beth.
