He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Roland and Bonnie Smith Roland; his wife Judy; his son-in-law David Cain; his stepfather Alto Walden; and his siblings, Annette Edmondson, David Pete Roland and Jimmy Walden.
He is survived by: his children, Kathi Cain, Vicky Marsh (Reggie), Jennifer Brazzelle (Randall) and Thomas Roland (Bobbie); his grandchildren, Crystal Girton (Jordan), Jennifer Newman (Jason), Robbie Cain (Ashley), Anna Himes (Zack), Justin Marsh (Alyssa), Emma Branch (Gavin Seay), Leighann Rinehart (Tim), Rachael Godwin (Tuck), Garrett Brazzelle (Lacee), Steven Brazzelle (Leah), Jackson Roland and Caroline Roland; his brother Johnny Walden; and his siblings-in-law, Libby Walden and Phillip Pippin. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sorrells Funeral Home (1315 W Lawrence St, Slocomb, AL 36375). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Malvern Baptist Church (161 Church St, Slocomb, AL 36375).
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made in Tommy's honor to Malvern Baptist Church.
