With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne Franklin of Slocomb, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Yvonne leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Jones and Callie Loutrell Gavin Jones; and her son Steve Franklin. She is survived by: her husband Roland Franklin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hinson Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
