Janis Annette Alsup Goins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janis Annette Alsup Goins of Smiths Station, Alabama, who passed away on October 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Ray Alsup and Sarah Vivian Story Alsup; her husband Billy James Goins; her sons, Randall Lee Goins and Billy James Goins II; and her siblings, Michael Alsup and Phyllis Schmidt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Pounds, Leisa Cierley, Vyckie Goins and Monica Goins; her grandchildren, Benjamin Goins (Christina), LaRee Guevarra (Rowell), Kristopher Bellas, Lacey Gould (Jeff), Courtney Rasch (Jon), BillyRay Bellas (Shelbey), Tiffany Pounds-Williams (Christopher), Billy James Goins III and Sarah Imakavar (Bobby); and her siblings, Stan Alsup, LeRoy Schmidt, Toni Blagg and Mary Gilliam. She is also survived by 34 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many Fostered-in-Love children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Assembly of God (619 Lee Road 243, Smiths Station, AL 36877).
