He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Madere and Rosemary Jones Madere; his wife Judy Gaudet Madere; his daughter Carrie Jones; his grandchildren, Trinity and Jaxson Jones; and his siblings, Carol Vicknair and Butch Madere.
He is survived by: his daughter Anjanette Thomas (Jimmy); his brother Gus Madere (Sue); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Pace, Christine Pace, John Porterfield, Karston Thomas (Madisyn) and Zoe Bambulkar (Nihal); and his great grandchildren, Brayden Pace, Kenneth Almadover, Alex Almadover, Elijah Pace, Harmoni Meadows, Elena Lober and Linda Porterfield.
