It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Helen Mathis Miller of Smiths Station, Alabama, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard E. Mathis and Mary Lou Holloway Mathis; her husbands, Van Robbins and George Miller; her sons, Ricky V. Robbins and Glenn Miller; and her sister Barbara Sides.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Debbie Smith, Kathy Miller Bode and Susan Retzer; her sisters, Martha Morefield, Mary Frances Head (Billy Ray) and Sandy Clay (Chuck); her daughter-in-law Gwen Robbins; her brother-in-law Billy Sides; and her grandchildren, Dustin Robbins, Clay Miller and Sammy Miller. She is also survived by several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, several extended family members and friends.
