He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Boots" Clegg and Marie Colwell Clegg; his wife Sheila Ann Bruhl Clegg; and his son Matthew Clegg. He is survived by: his sons, Chris Clegg (Brandi) of Alexander City, AL, Shannon Dueitt (Angie) of Citronelle, AL and Todd Dueitt (Jennifer) of Phenix City, AL; his brothers, Charles "Bum" Clegg (Carol) and Arvin Clegg (Linda); and his grandchildren, Dru Bennett, Trey Jones, Taylor Clegg, Gracie Dueitt, Danny Dueitt and Joey Dueitt. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vance Brooks Funeral Home - Phenix City (3738 US-431, Phenix City, AL 36867). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
