He is survived by: his sons, Moses Phillips, III (Tamiko) and Cavender Dewayne Phillips; his sister Rebecca O'Neal; his grandchildren, Malik Phillips, Dashon Phillips, DaQuan Phillips, Tiara Phillips and Tataynna Phillips; his niece Kamaria Edwards; his sisters-in-law, Frankie Mae Phillips, Vickey Shephard and Jessie Edwards; and his close friends, Evone Taylor, Terry Baker and Mary Preer.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church (5230 Lee County Rd 240, Phenix City, AL 36870).
