He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie West; his son William Homer West; and his parents, Homer West and Mattie Parker. He is survived by: his children, Tim West, Jerack West, Chad West, Mary Ann Glover, Mary Elizabeth Duke, Rebecca Gail Nickelson, Lela Mae Bell and Tamara Skinner.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snead Funeral Home (170 Richman Dr, Snead, AL 35952). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
