He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Hyde and Carolyn "Pat" Hyde (Hogeland). He is survived by: his sisters, Cindy Hyde (Charlie Watson) and Sheila Johnson (Jimmy Early); his nieces, Christy Osborne Eckhoff (Skip), Karolyn Morgan (Jacob) and Hollie Mason (Dusty); and his nephew Jacob Samples.
