He was predeceased by : his parents, Ethel Sanders and Odell Simmons Sanders; his daughter Sharon Espinosa; his son-in-law Genaro Moctezuma; and his siblings, G. T. Sanders, Estelle Miller, Shirley Robinson, Star Wilson and Robbie Nicholas.
He is survived by : his wife Wanda Sue Sanders; his children, Joey Sanders (Annita), Linda Stephenson, Danny Sanders (Vickie), Tessy Moctezuma, Anna Espinosa (Shaun), Natasha Gonzalez (Juan) and Kenneth Baker (Cindy); his caregiver Penny Martin; and his sister Virgina Beatty. He is also survived by twenty three grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren.
