He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Steenson and Cullie Mae Little Steenson; his children, Angela Adams and Matt Bowen; his grandson Caleb Adams; and his sister Dean Wilson.

He is survived by : his wife Patsy Steenson; and his sons, Jeff Pettit (Michelle), Greg Steenson and Jason Steenson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
