Though Laneita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Laneita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Eugene Davis; and her brothers, Carlos Wilbanks Jr. and Melvin Wilbanks. She is survived by: her children, Cecil Brian Davis, Amanda Lawson (Greg) of Somerville, AL. and Nancy Staggs (Thomas) of Somerville, AL.; and her siblings, Ronald Wilbanks (Barbara) of Danville, AL, Gerald "Flip" Wilbanks (Nancy) of Goodspring, TN and Rebekah Morgan (Timmie) of Danville, AL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
