We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Barbara Spearman Johnston of Spanish Fort, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Spearman and Ethel Spearman; her husband Wayne Edward Johnston; her brothers, Jack Ray Spearman, Richard Franklin Spearman and Kenneth Carl Spearman; and her great grandchild Jaxon Garrett.

She is survived by : her daughters, Susan Bauman (Gerry) of Fairhope and Cathy Johnston (Kelly Stevens) of Jay, FL; her sister Margie Spearman Etheridge of Red Level; her grandsons, Stephen Thomas Garrett (Salena), Jason Edward Garrett and Brian James Garrett (Gena); her great grandchildren, Sarah Garrett Buettel (Conner), Savannah Garrett, Richard Parker, Alex Parker and Alexis Garrett; and her great great grandchild Lyla Buettel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cope-Keahey Funeral Home Chapel (705 Perryman St, Evergreen, AL 36401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

The family is accepting flowers or memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
