Edna Williamson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Williamson of Spanish Fort, Alabama, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Edna is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Edna's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Frank Harmon and Iva Tapp Harmon; and her brothers, Leo and Frank Harmon. She is survived by: her husband John Edward Williamson; her children, Mark (Zoel), Tim Williamson (Debra) and Mary Beth King (Michael); and her sister Mary Ellen Shemwell. She is also survived by her four grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Mobile (806 Government St, Mobile, AL 36602). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to First Baptist Church of Mobile.
