He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Dobbs; his parents, Clarence Dobbs and Lois Dobbs; and his siblings, Mildred Wood and Loyd Dobbs.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diana Wilson and Donna Wilson (Scott); his grandchildren, Bayley Wilson and Riley Wilson; and his daughters, Charlotte and Sadie.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home & Crematory (6340 Old Piedmont Gadsden Hwy, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at the Union Grove Cemetery (County Rd 45, BRDN SPRNGS, AL 36272).
