He is survived by: his brother Bryan Abernathy (Tracy) of Tyrone, Georgia; and his sibling's children, Ryan Landrum (Anthony) of Cedartown Georgia and Matthew Abernathy (Emily) of Piedmont. He is also survived by great niece and three great-nephews.
