He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Skeels and Kathleen Skeels; and his brother Ralph Skeels. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Skeels; and his children, Donna Jean Skeels Sanders, Kari McClernon, James Lee Skeels, Donald Wood, Robert McClernon and Jonathan Elder. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
