He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmit Onell and Pansey Newton Frost; and his siblings, Alton, Tommy, Neal Frost, Virgina Hill and Nila Jean Hardy.

He is survived by : his children, Shannon Varner (Daniel) and Wesley Frost (Nicole); his grandchildren, Caytlin, Archie, Zaelyn, Easton, Anna and Isiah; and his siblings, James, Phillip, Daniel, Steve Frost, Rachel Herrmann and Betty Jones.

“It hurts me so much that John has passed away I know he had a huge heart And I loved him dearly We didn't see each other much but we did talk He was my husband and the love of my life I wish circumstances would have been different He gave me the most wonderful gift my children I love them so very much and I loved him My heart will never be the same”
