She was predeceased by : her parents, Pauline Simpson and J. T. Stamps Sr.; and her brothers, J. T. Stamps III, John Stamps and Hal Stamps.

She is survived by : her son William Charles Thompson Jr. (Brooke); her granddaughters, Jolie and Poppy; and her son Chuck.
