He was predeceased by: his former wife Helen McFarlen Dickmann; and his parents, Wesley Dickmann and Elaine Dickmann. He is survived by: his wife Susan Brown Dickmann; his siblings, Michael Dickmann (Barb) and Ruth Fowler (Jim); his children, Tony Annerton (Patty), Eddie Annerton (Laura), Lisa Rayburn (Al) and Susan Hudgins (Michael); and his stepdaughter Jennifer Harbison (Brian). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crosspoint Church (8000 Liles Ln, Trussville, AL 35173). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Springville Cemetery (875 Robinson St, Springville, AL 35146).
