He was predeceased by: his wife Rubye Grace Phillips; his parents, Dover Phillips and Roberta Phillips; his daughter Judy Bowlin; his sister Shirley Perkins; his son-in-law Joe Clifton; his grandson-in-law Tommy Godfrey; and his in-laws, Sylvester and Dora Gilliland.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Clifton, Renee Came (George), Grace Romine (Mike), Wes Phillips, Ben Phillips (Julie) and Joey Phillips; his son-in-law Barry Bowlin; his grandchildren, Mary Godfrey, Matt Bowlin (Summer), David Came (Dana), Bart Came (Sarah), Michael Phillips (Jennifer) and Taylor Romine (Michael); his brother John Phillips (Anita); and his brothers-in-law, Corley Gilliland, Lee Gilliland (Mary) and Bill Gilliland (Jody). He is also survived by ten Greatgrandchildren and two Great Greatgrandchildren.
