It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Corbett Hughey of Sprott, Alabama, who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Corbett Hughey and Navie Hughey; and his siblings, Allieze Hughey Stone (Watson) and William M Hughey (Addie Lee). He is survived by: his wife Angerine S Hughey; his daughter Kathy Smith (Rodney); his grandchildren, Lyndsey Burns (Tyler) and Justin Smith (Raquel); and his great grandchildren, Makynzie Smith, Alexander Burns, Elliott Burns, Samuel Burns and Boone Grady Smith.
