With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. Brown of Stapleton, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 22, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown and Willie Estell Brown; his sons, James Arther Brown Jr. and Morgan Edward Brown; his grandchildren, Jason Tyler Brown and Megan Amanda Callaghan; and his brother Robert Lee Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Johnson of Stapleton, Alabama; his children, Angela Downer (Teddie) of Robertsdale, Michele Renee Brown of Mobile and Jonathan Adrian Brown of Bay Minette; his stepchildren, Crystal Johnson of Stapleton, Jason Johnson of Wilcox and William Edward Johnson of Stapleton; and his siblings, Linda Estell (Jerry), Ernest Brown of Magnolia Springs and Charles Brown of Creola. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends.
