He was predeceased by: his wife Willodean Sims Brown; his son Michael Brown; and his son-in-law Rev. James Charles Robinson. He is survived by: his children, Patty Brown Robinson, Joel Kent Brown (Kim) and Sharon Brown Buchanan (Rickey); his daughter-in-law Beverly Spears (Joey); his grandchildren, Brandon Brown (Tanika), Taylor Brown (Amber), Kasey Naugher (Keaton), Holley Brown, Aaron Buchanan (Lara) and Drew Buchanan; his great grandchildren, Braylon, Foreman Brown, Ayla Kate, Harper Brown, Tate and Willa Naugher; his brother John Brown; and his nieces, Laura Brown Bowers, Reina Brown Summerville and Belinda Brown Champion.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Welcome Bethel Church (274 Kelley Ln, Guntersville, AL 35976). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery (360 Shiloh Rd, Attalla, AL 35954).
