She was predeceased by : her parents, George Washington Summers and Janie Roberts Summers; her brothers, Glenn, James and Pleas Summers; her half-brother John M. Summers; her sisters, Ruth Peacock, Jewel Culver, Beatrice Wilkerson, Gladys Stewart and Janice Seale; and her half-sisters, Fannie Sanders, Anilee Johnson and Dorothy Mae Summers.

She is survived by : her brothers, Charley Summers, Sr. and Edward Joe Summers; and her close friend Betty Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
