With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bo Eakin of Stevenson, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Eakin and Allie Eakin; his parents-in-law, William and Pearl Johnson; and his siblings, Mary Talley, Alberta Pendergrass, Ruth Holland, Pauline Talley, Joan McCarver, Shirley Southeard, Herbert, Charles and Johnny Eakin.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Eakin; his daughters, Amy Cook (Brian) and Christina Brown; his grandchildren, Samuel, Tyler Brown and Codi Cook; his great grandchild Beckham Brown; and his sisters, Patty Gossett and Louise Willmon.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
