He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy Smith; his parents, Dan Smith and Martha Smith; and his sister Michelle Johnson. He is survived by: his son Justin Smith (Amber); his sisters, Shelia Guess and Patsy Jordan; his significant other Sam Anderson; and his stepdaughter T. J. Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home - Stevenson (1214 Kentucky Ave, Stevenson, AL 35772). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Glenwood Cemetery (505 9th St SW, Fort Payne, AL 35967).
